Randy Evans is chairman of the board of the J.C. Watts Companies.
As chairman of the board, Randy provides leadership and strategic insight to all business structures and activities. Randy chairs quarterly board meetings and provides ongoing counsel to Chairman Watts and the executive team.
Randy is a partner in the law firm of McKenna, Long and Aldridge. He has a national practice, representing individuals and companies in complex legal disputes and high profile business and political matters. He represents some of the largest companies in the world, as well as the former and current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich and Dennis Hastert, respectively. Randy frequently speaks to bar associations and groups throughout the United States.
Randy is the head of the legal team for the Bush-Cheney '04 Reelection in Georgia. He is serving as Special Master for the Georgia Supreme Court. He is a member of the Georgia State Board of Elections, appointed by the Governor on April 1, 2003 and confirmed by Georgia Senate on April 5, 2003. He is general counsel of the Georgia Republican Party and a Member of the American Bar Association Sections on Administrative Law, Tort & Insurance Practice, and Litigation.
Randy is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Georgia. He and his wife Linda have one son and live in Atlanta.
